Scholarship 20010 Scholarship winner Daniel and Garden Club Member
Education has been a priority for members of Pottawatomie Garden Club since 1991 when their scholarship program began with a single $500 award. Since then the program has grown in proportion to the group’s size and fund raising capabilities. Because of its effort, many deserving students have been assisted to valuable careers in the field of horticulture.
In 2012, one $3,000.00 will be given.
Residents of St. Charles High School District #303 pursuing full time studies in botany, horticulture, ecology, forestry, conservation, land management and related subjects are encouraged to apply. Applicants must be high school graduating seniors or graduates. Previous recipients are eligible to reapply. The deadline for applications is April 4.
