Polly's Garden Fall Planting Scheduled!

Several PGC members met Sept. 25 with Polly's Garden organizers--the Preservation Partners of the Fox Valley (PPFV), and Polly's son Warren Bowman--to finalize the planting plan and schedule the plant installation for:
 9AM Saturday, October 18th.

"I really want this to be a St. Charles showcase, and with your help, I know it will happen," Bowman told the group.

Polly's Garden is located behind historic Beith House,
8 Indiana Street, St. Charles, along the Fox River.

Details--final landscape plan, plant choices and donation opportunities are available at:

Please contact PGC member Luann Zanzola if you are ready to dig and help out---physically or financially on October 18th.
Project Daffodil    October 19th

Over 25,000 daffodils and 800 bluebells will be planted along the bike trail through Mount Satin Mary Park in downtown St. Charles. Several of us have participated in this community bulb planting event the past few years.
Planting starts at 9am and should be finished by 11am. We will meet by the Humpty Dumpty statue in the park. Make sure you wear gloves and bring a small hand tool to plant bulbs and spread mulch.
Here is the URL to register and sign a waiver form. Be sure to indicate that you want to be placed on the PGC team.

Please also contact Linda Hefferin to let her know you have registered. Thank you!
