"Anything Orchids": Don White will speak about how to raise &
care for orchids. This program is intended to help people be
successful orchid growers. He will bring unusual plantings that can be grown in homes, & after the presentation, he will be selling blooming orchid plants.

"Artistic Effects & Glorious Gardens"
Laura Mueller is both an artist & art historian. She's worked for the Chicago Art Institute since 1987. Laura will look at famous painters including several Impressionists, demonstrating how these artists reflected the gardening style, design,& color harmonies of their time, reflecting their own personalities in their art.

Come help plant the beautiful flowers selected for the Main Street and Illinois bridges. Bring your own garden gloves, knee pad, and trowel...plants will be provided.

"Nature Printing Workshop:"
This workshop will allow each member to express their creativity to make 6 note cards & envelopes decorated with imprints of natural materials. JoAnne stores will provide leaves, twigs, vines, blossoms, etc., as well as colored note paper, envelopes & paint supplies while demonstrating the process.
Cost per person: $5 CASH. Members are welcome to bring any of their own fresh plant materials. No flowers please.

Bill Karges' program will focus on the many aspects of getting our flower & veggie gardens put to bed for the winter months. He will share the do's & don'ts, plus give us tips on helping our gardens get a jump on spring.

"American Home Garden Design 1830--Present": Focus on Gardens in the St. Charles area, in celebration of the 90th Anniversary of PGC!
Nina Koziol, a long-time garden writer for the Chicago Tribune & Chicagoland Gardening, will enlighten us on home garden design evolution & our own garden use in: suburban lawns, foundation & heirloom plantings, cottage & moon gardens no matter what age or style your home may be.

Celebrating our 90th Year!
We invite you to share 6 glorious gardens & a garden boutique. This is our largest fundraising effort. It supports student college scholarships & our club activities. All members are asked to participate.
Field Trip: Morton Arboretum-- Guided tram tour and guided walking tour from 10:00 AM - Noon. Lunch and transportation on your own.
"Creative & Unusual Floral Designs for the Garden"
Jeannie Rocchi, creative floral designer from the "Growing
Place" will demonstrate how to use succulents and flowers in
the most unexpected & unusual containers.
