Program: Helping to Bring Herbs into your Life

Mary Lautanen-Raleigh will talk about the gardening process, caring, propagation, preserving, and uses of herbs. She features more than 250 different blends of herbs for kitchen, bath, and home.

Program: Farm Fresh Flowers with Floral Designer Gerrit Husar

Farmdog Flowers will be our presenter. Based in Batavia (floral shop), they are a micro-based flower farm and shop known for sustainable-grown, farm-fresh flowers, bespoke floral design, and a selection of home goods.

Monday, May 18, 2026 - General Membership Meeting @ Baker Memorial Church, St. Charles.

Program: A Garden Coach, Amy Powers

Amy is a garden coach teaching gardeners tips on keeping their gardens beautiful and healthy. She will touch on things like fungus gnat problems, and the ways to stay on top of weeds. Questions will be welcomed. 
Monday (evening), June 22, 2026 - General Membership Evening Meeting @ Baker Memorial Church, St. Charles at 7:00pm.

Program: For the Birds! A Cultural Look at our Feathered Friends with Cindy Crosby

Join Cindy for a fun talk on birds and their place in cultural history. If you love birds and planting bird-friendly gardens, you will warm to this "something different" type of program.
Monday, July 27, 2026 - General Membership Meeting @ Aquascape in St. Charles.

Program: Connecting People to Water

Aquascape creates ponds, waterfalls, pondless streams, and fountains. This St. Charles company has designed water features for Lincoln Park Zoo, Shedd Aquarium and Brookfield Zoo, and has been featured in Architectural Digest and Better Homes and Gardens magazines. We will tour their facilities inside and out - including the Pond Shop, Inspiration Center, and Aqua Gardens and hear a brief educational talk. They connect people to water the way nature intended. 
Monday, August 24, 2026 - General Membership Meeting @ Baker Memorial Church, St. Charles.

Program: Pumpkins Everywhere, Nicole Regan

At this meeting, St. Charles resident, Nicole Regan, founder of Perfect Pumpkins will share memorable pumpkin porch designs and explain the creative choices behind them, along with simple approachable tips for creating inviting fall displays at our home. Perfect Pumpkins, Chicago's first "pumpkin concierge" since 2022, delivers pumpkins to homes and creates elaborate custom front porch displays.

Program: Vitalizing Your Landscape, Ann Baker

Ann will speak on ways to revitalize work-out landscapes. She will consider a partial update or a complete landscape overhaul, giving tips on basic landscape design and creative ways to perk up your landscape.
